AMINI RESEARCH GROUP is rooted at the Environmental Epidemiology Group under the leadership of Prof. Zorana Jovanovic Andersen, at the Section of Environmental Health, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The AMINI RESEARCH GROUP is focused on Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology. Specifically, the group works on exposure assessment to several environmental determinants of health, such as air pollution, noise pollution, green and blue spaces, and light-at-night. In addition, we are studying the impacts of these environmental determinants on human health using population-based data. The group uses state-of-the-art methods to achieve these goals. We benefit from using various satellite observations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geo-spatial and Geo-statistical modeling, machine learning, advanced epidemiological methods and causal inference.
